International individual fellowships for citizens of Hungary living in the US
|
Aim: The aim of this action is to attract European researchers carrying out research in a third country back to Europe.
Profile of the researcher: Experienced researchers from EU or Associated States who have been carrying out research in a third country for at least 4 years in the last 5 years are eligible.
Profile of the host: The host institutions can be legal entities (universities, research centres or enterprises) established and located in an EU or Associated State (e.g. Hungary).
Duration of the fellowship: at least 3 years (2 years are funded by the Commission)
Number of fellowships: approx. 125 per year, continuous submission: until 31 October 2004.
Expenses covered by the Commission when going from the US to Hungary:
- fellowship/salary of the researcher: not funded by the Commission;
- contribution to the expenses of the host: up to ?80 000 (= $ 91 327) (for all expenditures of the project e.g. equipment, consumables, travel) + management activities (3% of Community contribution).
